Before we know it, the school year will be over and another class of seniors will have applied at various colleges. Perhaps, even now they are looking for scholarships that will assist them in educational endeavors. NSTOY is ready to help with sources of funding.

NSTOY is indebted to the family of Kay Battista for enabling the organization to fulfill the dream of establishing and maintaining a scholarship program in her honor. As the 1972 New Jersey Teacher of the Year, Kay was one of NSTOY's early members. She eventually proposed that the organization give back to the profession from which the members had received so much by establishing a fund to help students become the teachers of tomorrow.
Although Kay did not live to see her dream materialize, the dream did not die with her. Indeed, the Kay Battista Scholarship program continues to this very day. The scholarship has been instrumental in helping
