You need JavaScript enabled to view it National 2010 Teacher of the Year Finalists are: Kelly A Kovacic, CA 10 is an eleventh and twelfth grade social studies teacher at The Preuss School USCD in La Jolla, CA. She has taught for 8 years, all at Preuss, a school of 819 students. Sarah Brown Wessling, IA 10 is a tenth through twelfth grade English teacher at Johnston High School in Johnston, IA. She has taught at this school of 1,250 students for ten of her eleven years in the education profession. Robert L. Stephenson, MI 10 is a third grade teacher at Wardcliff Elementary School in the Okemos Public Schools of Okemos, MI. He has been an educator at Wardcliff, a school of 240 students, for all fifteen of his years as a teacher. Megan Marie Allen, FL 10 is a fourth grade teacher at Cleveland Elementary School in Tampa, FL. She has taught for six years, the last two at Cleveland Elementary which has 343 students. Next issue of NSTOYeNEWS will include a report from NSTOY Pres. Joan Brummond, WY 95 on her trip to Dallas in late Jan. to meet with the 2010 TOYs.
