 The NSTOY Family Scholarship was established as a means of encouraging the families of NSTOY members to seek a career in education. The originators of the award hoped that family members would follow in the footsteps of relatives who had been selected as Teachers of the Year and would emulate their excellence, thereby contributing to the teaching profession.
Eligibility Requirements:
  1. The applicant must be an active member of NSTOY, or a spouse, child, or grandchild of an NSTOY member.
  2. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior or a student seeking a first teaching certificate or graduate level degree in education.
  3. The applicant must have a "C" or better average in high school.
